Therapeutic action
Through the synergy of concentrated and standardized extracts of primrose, thyme and elderberry, and due to the high content of saponins, pectins and mucilages, the syrup helps to soothe coughs, thin and reduce excess respiratory secretions, as well as promotes expectoration. It is emollient (combating mucosal dryness), respiratory antiseptic and aids in relieving headaches and muscle pain through its mild sedative effect.
Zinc contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.
N-acetylcysteine (ACC, NAC) thins bronchial secretions and maintains normal mucosal moisture.
It contains inverted sugar, to avoid the undesirable effects of refined sugar.
